It took me 20 minutes to make it from OLOL to Jefferson going down Essen. That's one mile. And it was at 11:30 AM.

Imagine you have to live in Louisiana and still deal with traffic. You’d think everyone with sense would leave

They did, and that’s why we have traffic.

One wreck is all it takes to frick up the entire city. Just bite the bullet already and make an elevated interstate on Airline Hwy, from the EBR/AP line, all the way to 110.

The ongoing Jefferson Highway construction is the most infuriating thing, and I'm subjected to it daily. Felt like just getting out of my car and walking today.

AP and LP residents want EBR paying jobs but want the better public schools and living in the the "country" so all of EBR has to suffer for this.

Probably just a coincidence that BR traffic starts getting worse right after state agencies start cutting telework in anticipation of Landry's EO.

It's Landry's return to office work order, and it's gonna get worse

They've been doing that FOREVER. It's almost like they are redoing the same thing over and over.

Was definitely worse than usual today. And not just a specific time, the entire day.

Who knows? Maybe all the new potential residents scoping out the city.

You’re so full of shite. There’s been no executive order and telework hasn’t charged. I know people who work for three large state agencies and nothing has changed.

It’s the bowling tournament, many different wrecks, stalled vehicles, and the inability of EBR to synchronize the damn traffic lights.

Mrs. BTB (no pics) has to take Bluebonnet to Jefferson in the afternoon. This arse backwards construction project they started makes absolutely no sense.

The road is not level. They are taking their sweet time doing construction throughout perfect weather conditions. The sidewalks have random construction on Jefferson once a month it seems.

I do not understand why DOTD hasnt eliminated suicide lines and replaced them with zipper trucks.

I don’t know what zipper trucks are but I almost died today on Jefferson coming out of Calvin’s. Some jackass floored it from the light at bocage to take a left on corporate in the middle lane. If I hadn’t hesitated, I’d at least be in the hospital right now with a broken pelvis.
