Every F150 I've been in has a smaller cab than my tundra. I'm curious as to which one is more spacious.
It's all in the interior design, but looking at interior volume in cubic feet, Ford and Chevrolet have 136 total cubic feet vs. 126 for the Tundra.

4 pages of theads arguing if a truck made in Texas is American. Thanks OT.
I said earlier in this thread, if you have the money get a Tundra, better reliability, better resale value, better overall truck.
I didn't want to spend 5K more, so I got an F150. I've had it for a year, and it's been fine. But I take care of my stuff and don't abuse it. I also went with a proven engine, not these ecoboost engines folks are complaining about all the time.
The Ford has more features for the money, but some of the interior is poorly placed, and if you have the sport model with center console, it can be a bit of a challenge to get to the A/C controls.
I think the Ford will last reasonably well if you take care of it. My last truck was a Silverado that a drunk driver took from me. It was 14 years old at the time, and I never had any real problems out of it, but again, you have to take care of them.

Again, is the Tundra a domestic truck? Yes or no only.
Define domestic.
Dont trust people that demand yes or no answers. They are not looking for truth but a gotcha moment.

Most pension funds/retirement funds in the US don't own Ford Bonds because their ratings are too low from Moody's and S&P and they can't own GM because it's high yield. Toyota though is owned by pretty much all of them as it's a highly rated company.

You never told me what car you drive, and I am not going back months in posts to see what car you drive.

I saw a 4 door Tundra yesterday with a 5.7 hemi. It was the dark grey color and I really liked it. I had a cpl Toyota pickups, a '94 4x4 and a '02 Tacoma TRD and loved them, but liked the look of the F150 a little more than a Tundra.
But the Tundra I saw yesterday was sharp and I would buy that over a F150.
Now that's just from a glance. I haven't been on the lot or drive one recently or done any research. So that's just based on window shopping.

F150 is made in Mexico
Not true. ALL Ford pickups sold in this country are made in the US (Dearborn and Kansas City). Some Chevy and Dodge (Ram) pickups are made in Mexico as are some Toyota Tacomas. Tundras are assembled in Texas but like all other manufacturers use parts made in Mexico and other places.

I thought that's what it said. Maybe it just said 5.7. It had a little badge on it.
I was just walking by and saw it so maybe I'm mistaken.
I'm aware that hemi is typically a Dodge thing so I probably did remember it wrong. Oh well.

Ha! Just messing with you, I have no clue if the yota has the same design or not.

About as dated as a hemi, might as well be the same.

Me either.
I just drive them and wreck them.

This F-150 V6 says hi
And my old one said bye at 74K miles via timing chain stretch like thousands of others.
Bought a 5.0 and love it. Its my 2nd 5.0 truck and I'll not buy another ecoturd.
Tundras have the cheapest shittiest interior of all the major truck brands but I have not heard any horror stories about the drivetrain.
