Toyota shows the world their 2019 Avalon at Detroit auto show

It looks like Toyota left most of the front end off of their big, floppy sedan.

Maybe if it had a monster engine that needed to suck in huge amounts of air, but it’s an Avalon, not a Chiron

My SO's grandmother bought an '18 in November. Bear with me, she's 93. Not a misprint. About the car, it's a nice ride. Not your luxury stalwart but it's sound in every category for the price.

Yeah I thought the new Camry's were ugly, but this Avalon is even worse.
I'm legitimately concerned that they'll screw up the 4Runner before I'm ready to buy a new car.
