4Runner going to be a turbo-4, no thanks...

I actually love it but I drive a GX460 and admit I’m a Toyota fanboy. I’d have a hard time deciding between this and the new GX.

Hard pass on that. Design is awful.
Good…one less person on the waiting list.
Go buy a overpriced Tahoe & run with the mommy mobile herd

I think a fully capable LC will be 20K less than the Overtrail+ GX

Same. I really dig the actual pics from the presser. Finally some 70 series vibes

I love it. I’ll have to decide between this and the new GX to replace my aging GX.

Okay it’s not as bad as I thought. I can work with this. I kind of like the ones without the powder blue paint.
Now tell me why the 70 series can’t come to the US because that’s awesome.

While the Lexus GX and 300-Series Land Cruiser(not coming to the USA) get twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 engines under the hood, the US-market 250-Series will make use of an advanced I-Force Max turbocharged 2.4-liter inline-four.
Turbo-4 only?
Fu(k all that noise

Even worse, turbos and a hybrid

I’m changing my opinion. I like it. The powder blue ones look like shite but the others look good.
I don’t love it enough to trade the 4Runner before it’s worn down. But I will eventually get one.

There’s a ton of review videos that just dropped on YouTube, watching a couple and it grows on me, pics maybe don’t do it justice. I’d love to check out one in person but I kind of like them from what I’ve seen.
So this will slot in size/price-wise between the 4Runner and Sequoia, base price in the mid-50s, only available in 4x4.
Also, Doug Demuro was bitching about this recently, car companies have no idea how to do car launches. They build all this hype then make us wait months to see these. Each Toyota dealership should have one sitting in the showroom tomorrow morning for you to look at with stock already in route to sales lots. Instead maybe we’ll see one around the holidays.
