Simply assume that most people supported the shutdowns at some point during this previous year.

You assume people from nola that post on this board supported the shutdowns in nola?

who on this board supported the shutdowns in nola?

Who from this board supports this Mardi Gras shutdown?

I'm just trying to get clarity on who "ya'll" is

I think the number of people who supported shutdowns were very small.

That's just based on everything that I have heard though.

There are definitely people who welcomed the shutdowns though.

In a state with historically terrible politicians, she is the worst of the worst. Completely unqualified and doesn’t even realize it.

Pretty much this entire thread did

I know lnchbox supported the original 2 weeks. It was almost unanimously supported on this site. Me and scruffy got raked over the coals for being against it

Are you implying that the majority of those on here from New Orleans did not support the shutdowns when they were first implemented?

yes

Are you wanting specific names?

yes

I wouldn’t be able to give them to you.

thats what I figured

It is merely the result of recalling how those on this site reacted and supported the shutdowns at the start of all of this.

across the board or you still just talking about nola posters and the nola shutdowns?

If you weren’t, I’m sorry to have lumped you in with them.

FTR..I never supported any shutdown..maybe some restrictions and pull backs...but never any shutdowns

If I am in that number so be it.

If we went back and reviewed some of the earlier threads, I would bet that many of the more ardent anti-shutdown voices on here were at one time very supportive of the shutdowns.
90% of people supported the original "2 week shutdown"

The general consensus was "if we dont do this, it can harm all of us because hospitals wont be able to treat you if you have a car wreck etc etc"
