Wind has calmed down at ground level at least at dfw

Was intense in Southlake around 3:30 and raining in sheets

Not as bad here in Lakewood as last Sunday Power did go out for a minute but kicked back on.

Just got back in town this am after 9 days away. Ton of debris in my backyard from last week was just bad rain for a half hour in Knox Henderson

Rain has let up here last 5 mins or so

It gets me that this Sunday there was an actual tornado warning, sirens going off and nothing happens. Then a week ago there was a thunderstorm warning and a bomb went off in this place.

Pretty tight rotation that went through Irving and Farmers Branch

I mean, never looked particularly tornado-ish on radar but it was definitely there.

Local Fox said a tornado was confirmed on the ground in Irving for a very short period.

My daughter is in Addison and said the top of a tree broke off right in front of her. It's like a repeat of last week.

Yep. Was going crazy over here. Rain gauge shows 5.3 inches for the day.

A strong line of storms will do damage over a large swath. It's been derecho like with these linear systems across Dallas the last few weeks.
