Rap rap rapping on your roof
The THUD THUD THUD on your door...
And when you check...it is only the storm waiting for you...
Yet you feel it, with the lights out, somthimgs change. An unease that wasn't there before.
The devices around us send millions of bits of code under us over us THROUGH us....poof
Gone. And in tneir absence....something else seeps in.
That fear. That trepidation. The true dark comes back. The dark our ancestors knew. The dark that was very real and did strange things to strange people...
And now...in times like this...
It's back.....

With FIRE AND STEEL we beat them back. Though we had no wicked horns or jagged Teeth or brute strength...no claw or maw or paw to slash with...
We summoned the red gift and made the spark flowers bloom, and from them forged blades to envy any beastclaw.
And we dispelled the deep blackness and the curSes upon in. In a pitched battle we slew those monsters As they fled the light!
And so life was light...
But when it goes dark...when The right storm comes in...
They want back what they lost...
And some will get it

No joke that's my mega cab on 8 inch lift on 37's behind my house. Truck nuts were close to getting wet. Actually they were tea bagging the water.
