The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
North central Terrebonne Parish in southeastern Louisiana...
Northwestern Lafourche Parish in southeastern Louisiana...

* Until noon CDT.

* At 1129 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located over Schriever, or near Thibodaux, moving
northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.


IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
Chackbay around 1145 AM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

Heavy rainfall may hide this tornado. Do not wait to see or hear the
tornado. TAKE COVER NOW!

I see a little blotch on the radar south of White Castle heading North towards Prairieville, but I can’t tell if it’s anything significant.

They're saying it could intensify further and become severe. It does look healthy right now. We'll see what happens.

Line just blew through Bayou Blue a while ago. The more intense shite passed to the North of me. If a tornado is going to hit I’ll jump in my tornado shelter.
