Sometimes I forget this is mostly a Louisiana board. A lot of people live all over that post on this board. A few posters live near me to. It’s cool though.
We’re actually protected here. If you look at far west Kentucky, I’m in the big block county next to the four counties that straddle the Mississippi. The Mississippi and Ohio Rivers meet at Cairo, Ill and most the bad stuff gets sent north to Illinois and south through Tennessee. Plus the Tennessee and Cumberland Rivers mouth at the Ohio. Reason we’re called the 4 rivers and 4 state region.

Really beautiful country up there. It's been awhile since I have traveled up that way, but can't beat the seasons, you get to have a real fall.

A radar indicated warning hundreds of miles away from everyone on this board.
Thanks for the waste of time

It’s a little bit of everything here. Cold winters and humid summers. Fall is nice though. You get the first whiff of leaves changing, the hunters get a hard on. November is a damn mad house at the gun stores. Rifles getting sighted in, people loading up on tree stands and hunting blinds. The occasional smell of someone spilling doe urine on themselves.
I don’t think I could leave west Kentucky. You’re pretty much near a big city in any direction.

Gladly
People don’t realize the radar indicated warnings are USUALLY nothing. It can turn into something but it’s not all that often. That just means a couple conditions significant of a rotating cell or present. Not every cell with rotation produces a tornado.

I realize that
What is your point? Should we not inform ppl of them bc they aren’t necessarily a really strong tornado on the ground at that moment?
