They need to go ahead and extend the tornado warning out. The circulation is almost out of the current warning polygon.

how do 2 NWS offices not issue simultaneous warnings when it overlaps like that?

I haven't been keeping up with the weather today/tonight, how long has this storm been producing a tornado? Since it was in Texas?
Also, I assume it just narrowly missed the Ft. Polk radar site.

They have waited until after the other expires the past several warnings. They aren't letting them overlap much at all.

the tornado appears to have cycled a few times... but it's basically been on the ground since east Texas
ETA: I believe it 1st formed somewhere west of Jasper, Texas

Since west of Jasper, TX. If you can find a radar image right before Jasper, it was a classic hook.
