This is a reminder the extreme cold solutions on the models require snow cover.

Gotcha, thanks. But what the deal with that high pressure y’all referred to on the last page. Why is it significant?

Other than possibly high winds, cold air, and beautiful blue skies, I can't figure it out either

What this has to do with meatballs, I have no clue. But then again, I don't venture far from my interests nowadays.

I'm sure Duke would prefer not to be a popsicle.

You sure? I realize it is a safe bet because the odds are so low but no one expected 6-8 inches in 2008. Started snowing at 5:15am here in Ponchatoula and didn't stop till some time after 1pm.

I remember not being able to make it to work that day. I was one of the first cars on the road that morning and there was already about 4 inches of snow on the road and hardly any tracks to follow. I called my boss and told him that I was having trouble making it and may be little late. This dude seriously asked my why, I asked him if he looked outside yet.

as somebody who has experienced -25 with wind chills of -40+ more than most people on this forum..

that kind of combo absolutely sucks

Not only is the temp brutal...but if its preceded by snow...you cant see shite because of ground blizzards caused by the wind.

While I would love a foot of snow and a real white Christmas, all the other things make me want this to hold off until the day after Christmas.

This was forecast for my part of the country several years ago. We moved up all our Christmas plans a couple of days so everyone can get back home safely before the snow/ice started

You laugh, but it is an actual portion of Georgia.

In gray.

I'm in Spalding.

Can we get an update on the weather over the next 3-5 days (rain, temps)? I’ve gone back several pages but it’s just people discussing snow and Christmas.
