Someone in the replies to that Tweet said GRLevel3 was having the same problem, so it could be an NWS data issue.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CST FOR

At 502 PM CST, a confirmed tornado was located 10 miles northeast of
Atlantic, moving northeast at 75 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado crossing Interstate 80
north of Atlantic.


IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Cass, southwestern Guthrie, Audubon and northwestern
Adair Counties, including the following locations... Exira, Wiota,
Elk Horn, Lake Anita State Park, Adair, Kimballton, Brayton, Audubon
County Airport, Anita Municipal Airport and Anita.

NWS Paducah feels confident that Mayfield was an EF4, 190 winds, a mile wide, and tracked 128 miles from Samburg, TN to Beaver Dam.

I think RadarScope may have been taken out by hyperbole overload. Looks like WxTwitter and TWC may be at risk for the same problem.

Some of the most intense winds in this line will go over KDMX. Should be something to see if the radar makes it.

I saw a storm motion of 80 a few minutes ago.

Scratch that....73kt/84mph storm motion on RadarScope.

I'm no weather geek, but I have never seen a tornado or any storm moving that fast that I can recall.

It usually takes an event like this to see it. Derecho(ish) type lines will give you that type speed every time.
