I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Clarksville TOR become the next long tracked storm.

Warning for Shelby county/Memphis now, looks pretty weak on radar to me though
Tornado sirens just went off in Collierville...anyone been watching and know if I need to get my little boys up and get to shelter?

The long track storm has really weakened. Still warned but the rotation is pretty weak at this point.

If you ever hear sirens or get a warning notification. Go to shelter. Don’t overthink it.

Finding a radar estimated wind speed of 132mph on the storm near Ft. Campbell. The storm is pretty close to the radar, so that is really concerning.

It’s headed for that radar station right?

Which brings up a personal gripe of mine about the God-forsaken sirens. If they are going to make them area-specific....do it. If they are going to make them county wide......do it, but pick one! Personally, I want them for the area.

Yep.

Never ever rely on a siren. Most of the time you can’t hear them indoors and the delay in activation is crucial. I say they’re a waste of money.
Posted on 12/11/21 at 12:26 am to Briella
if you activate too early, people start to think the worse/worst is over.
