This storm is reminiscent of some of the storms from historic events like 4/27/11 as far as length of the track goes.

That monster Low Level Jet spent the better part of two days dragging half the damn Gulf as far North as Chicago. Unfortunately, it also had room to carry plenty of hot air from the Mexican desert.

Last EF5 tornado was May 2013 in Moore, Oklahoma. That just may change after tonight.

it's as fascinating as the hurricane that went right over NOLA in October 2020
everything in the setup screamed storm should be sheared to shite... yet it found the 1 alley where instead of being destroyed it rapidly intensified
