WWL TV reporting devastating damage near Belle Terre subduvision. Police just arriving on scene. Vehicles were tossed around, many homes damaged and roads are closed.

Airline by main street is fricked up. 18 wheeler blown over. Front of belle terre at airline has telephone poles down. No power. Back of Cambridge and the 2 new buildings on woodland drive by the water towers are mangled. I was at my office 200 yards away and didn't hear anything.

Don't know specifically but areas off 51 were hit bad

That was another thing we thought of afterwards. We always thought we would hear a whistling noise but nothing. We just figured it was due to the insane amount of road noise our trucks produce.
