...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM CDT
FOR CENTRAL COLLIN COUNTY...

At 853 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over McKinney with
confirmed baseball size hail , moving southeast at 30 mph.
This is a very dangerous storm.

HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.

Locations impacted include...
Plano, McKinney, Frisco, Allen, Wylie, Sachse, Murphy, Anna,
Fairview, Princeton, Lucas, Parker, Farmersville, Lowry Crossing,
Melissa, Lavon, St. Paul, Blue Ridge, Nevada and Josephine.

Always prefer fox4. My wife's family is from Cincinnati and her grandad hated Pete delkus for some reason. Was pretty funny for her family when they found out Pete does the weather here.

Yeah, it looks there could be multiple days of svr wx. Right now, it looks like next Friday could be the "big" day but that is so tricky with each day impacting the next day.

Saw a report of tennis ball size hail in Addison. That was probably a big insurance money event.

I just missed getting home before the hail, by 2 minutes. I'll check in the morning, hopefully no damage to my new ish car before I got it in the garage.


There wasn't much hail, it was over real quick and coming down sparingly compare to a few weeks ago, but it did look like a big size.
