...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 AM CDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN VERMILION PARISH...

At 953 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Esther, or near Forked Island, moving northeast at
15 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Locations impacted include...
Intracoastal City, Forked Island, Esther and Henry.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy rainfall may hide this tornado. Do not wait to see or hear the
tornado. TAKE COVER NOW!

The hail core is not close to Maurice but they are getting heavy rain.

It looks like Jeanerette, Baldwin, Franklin are the possible targets for the golf ball hail and 70 mph winds.

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northwestern Iberia Parish in south central Louisiana...
Northwestern St. Mary Parish in south central Louisiana...

* Until 1115 AM CDT

* At 1027 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cypremort
Point, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Jeanerette, Cypremort Point, Baldwin, Sorrel, Cote
Blanche Island, Glencoe, Lydia, Lake Fausse Pointe, Charenton,
Weeks Island and Centerville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground

Apparently there was a lot of hall on Grand Isle, seems like that is probably a rare event.

Hail in Grand Isle? Looked nothing like the cell that is around Lake Charles or the small cell along the cost in Franklin.

Same here Sigen/perkins. Dark and some wind but barely any rain.
