I don't know make and model of car because it wasn't me. Either the friend or the Uber driver called 911 and I've been told there were multiple police cars outside of my friends house.
Basically when my friend thought they lost him, they turned down Octavia and he turned down Jefferson, but he was actually waiting on a side street between Octavia and Jefferson and then they made it back to St. Charles somehow and eventually did a U-turn and I guess the guy thought it wasn't worth it to keep chasing and went into a parking lot off of St. Charles.
So when you get your Uber Receipt it also sends you the route that the driver took

As someone who spends a lot of time in this area, let me assure you the route you’re describing is pretty tough to just make all these turns much less pull up alongside a car. They may have sideswiped a parked car, but they didn’t pull up next to your friends Uber and sideswipe him.
At best they would have been going different directions and he sideswiped him that way, but you said he was being followed.
