2) you agreed to go to NYC under no guarantee of anything and are now pissed that they rejected you?
Seems to me they gave you an opportunity and didn’t like you so you were axed from the candidate list

Did they tell you they were only paying $150 before you agreed to go? If so, then they didnt do anything wrong. You have to take risks to make it on top in life. Plenty of people have sacrificed far more in pursuit of their dreams. Something tells me you dont have what it takes

Depending on the firm, I went to a Super Day for PwC and they paid for the flight, meals, and hotel. shite, I was 20 years old staying in the Four Seasons hotel

Any company that doesn't fund 100% of super day travel costs should be a MAJOR red flag.
