Trans people get a lot of misdirected hate, and unfortunately it can be rather severe.

The trans child was never given proper treatment and instead was encouraged by the school, parents, and likely others in the community as if nothing was wrong. There were likely WAY too many enablers in this case, people who should be getting the burnt of the hate and vitriol. Granted the attacker still is responsible for their own actions, I feel as is the case with many mentally ill people, there is way more people at fault than simply the mental ill person.

yeah this is obviously a bad thing.

I just don’t think that girl is innocent if she threw the first pinch.

Both things can be bad.

This probably paints the best picture. The enabling these days is sad, especially in the schools. I’m glad I haven’t witnessed anything too outrageous in my days as a teacher. We’ve had several kids go by a name that isn’t remotely close to their birth name, and even some that prefer different pronouns. I’ve been able to maneuver around that pretty easily. In many instances, the kid grows up a bit and laughs at how they used to be.

You’re no different from a hardcore Bible thumper thinking that a woman rape victim wearing a short skirt was asking for it.

that’s the dumbest fricking thing i’ve ever read

throwing a bunch is not “asking for a fight” it’s starting a fight. Once you punch someone you’re in a fight unless you’re a toddler.

wearing shorts isn’t asking for rape.

If only they had someone who taught them how to defend themselves instead of a lifetime of being victims. Is the father in your house or just a single mom?
