And?

You mentioned Europa will globalists start calling for moon warming on a moon that maybe in 10k years it's been terra formed for possible limited living?

This the problem with taxpayer funded expeditions. They're only limited by the funds they can suck from us.

I'm fine here on earth. Let them spend your money.

Do you really need someone to explain to you the obvious strategical advantage and necessity of getting rare materials from space back to earth? There's a finite amount of the resources needed for the entire world in the tech age.

Not to mention that if we don't, the Chinese and Russians will, which puts the US behind or further behind than they already are.

The space shuttle could carry an entire payload of about 65k lbs.

So let's say it could bring back 40k lbs and that's being very generous. That's 136k trips.

Now, explain it to me, Peter Pan.

Over a 10 year period that would be 37 trips a day.

37 -74 sahuttles and 74 - 154 crews.

Edit

You'd have to have a shuttle landing every 39 minutes to get OM's 13 mil tons back.

3 days there 1 day to load 3 days back

Counting maintenance let's say 1.5 shuttles for that schedule that's 387 shuttles to extract the H3 double those crews 774 crews.

Have you guys never ran a business or schedule?

First, the entire premise of the rapidly reusable rockets Elon is creating is to do thousands of launches a year, including a moon base where ships can refuel.

Second, the transport ships would almost assuredly be unmanned.

Third, what is the rush to finish bringing every ounce of Helium-3 back to earth within 10 years?

Again

Tell me a single place we can go?

Europa? That's a terra formed moon of Saturn in 1k's of years?

What is their payload capacity upon return?

How long did it take for the space race to end?

Let do 20 years. The math still doesn't work.

Columbia took 6 years from start to launch.

You guys don't do logistics or math very well. All emotion and "we must do something"

You said emergency

200 years isn't an emergency

Glad you realized it would be a terra formed MOON

Our moon has an ice lake so not terraform it? It would be cheaper.

I have no idea what you're even attempting to say or the point you're trying to make.

We're talking about theoretical technology that is decades away. You can't give exact tonnages or logistics for something that doesn't exist yet.

There about 5 major challenges to overcome before we get to "How do we get mined helium-3 back to earth efficiently?".

You just said 200 years

Damn you're the troll or the most emotional person I've ever engaged.

You think people will live on Mars in the next 50 years?

Wow

Peak stupidity.

You have taken Bubba Brown's spot of nuclear grade stupid.

I agree NASA is way behind in their space engineering efforts probably due to it being funded almost primarily by the government which means some years are good to push forward and some you have to reign it in a little which slows down advancement big time. The Technology space has moved quicker than light speed in the last 5 years.

Saying that Elon has the funding and he hires the absolute best to do their jobs with no DEI bullshite in the way either.
