$5800 was tuition and enrollment fees. I don’t even want to add up all the random other times through the year there is something else to pay towards. Don’t get me started on how many lunches my wife buys without me knowing.

About $15k a year X 3 kids.
It's finally coming to an end but it has been absolutely brutal.

Right at 10K all in - tuition, fees, school-approved clothes.

We did K-8th for the younger one. I think it was 14k by the 8th grade. Thank God she asked me to go to a magnet school for high school.
In hindsight, I'd have probably raised her in the suburbs but it just didn't work out that way.

Don’t forget the donations you must give in order to get the parishioner rate for the Catholic schools

Here in Orlando, it’s like $17,500 for one at the place my youngest goes for preschool currently. Oldest is in public school. You get a 5% discount if you have multiple kids. +30k year makes me want to puke.

For those of you that have kids in private school how much are y’all paying?
We paid about 7k per child for about 7 years (private christian School)
Both children finished 9-12 High School in Public School
One is currently at NC State, the other at Alabama..
we're only paying for instate tuition...

Yes.
We homeschool utilizing an accredited classical Catholic education curriculum.
Was is a certified teacher who quit to stay home while the kids are school age.

Daughter was in pre-k 4, got the invoice for $22,5 and said no more. Thankfully we’re moving where the school systems are significantly better and private schools are more reasonably priced. We will see but I’m giddy at the thought of NO school expense.
