Has it been proven that the person who beat her was a trans? I know that had been rumored, but the article didn't really mention it. As far as I know no one has been arrested yet.
For those who hadn't heard of the story, a young woman flew to Mexico with a group of friends for vacation. She was ultimately beat up by said friends, as shown on camera, and ended up passing. The friends called her mom to say she died of alcohol poisoning. They all fly back home.

I read something on this. It was an interview with her dad or something. Its a pretty crazy situation.
Evidently she went on this trip with these people and she didn't really know them all that well.
