Absolutely.
i know someone and she pulls upwards of 500k/year in her "nonjudgmental hormone clinic" in a northern state. she makes them feel persecuted right off the bat, and only she can take care of them. viola, patient for life even if she immensely fricks up / ruins them forever.
the thing with these treatments is that the health care provider essentially decides how often they need to come in, etc. Say they run a cash only hormone clinic and charge a couple hundred per visit. now to 'monitor your treatment progress / tolerance' you need to have weekly visits, maybe even more often if you feel like it.
Adds up very quickly for basically no work. All you need are a bunch of mentally ill people and they're making more every day.
it's a racket and it's immensely fricked up. and i haven't even touched on the finances when surgery / kids are involved.
