Are we in some rocky times politically in the US? Yes, it started when social media started to be used for political purposes. Both sides have weaponized social media to manipulate people. Every presidential election year stories are created and they want everyone to think things are getting bad because the worse off you think things are the more likely you will go vote.

And this will likely be coming here if the battle is lost in Canada. We're armed though, and I will gladly be a martyr taking out a few communists...if word gets around that enough tyrant supporting officers that are blindly following orders are being killed in the process, things will take an abrupt hault.haul.

To the down voters, let me be more clear.
These officers are blindly following orders, extremely likely against their morals, out of fear and for a paycheck. If enough of them get taken out in the process, they will start to question their hierarchy of life necessities and begin to follow the moral path once again.
