Gender is a social construct

Maybe don’t treat TV as a babysitter. Turn it official and get control of your household.

And I hope you didn’t want grandkids

They are 2 and 4. In a few days they will move onto something else.

My youngest will watch this sometimes as well. Of course he also watches Paw Patrol, old school Blue's Clues, something called Action Pack, Lego superheroes, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Big Hero 6, the Cars movies, etc. No big deal.

Don’t worry, at 4 the boy tolerated it, by 5 he was complaining, at 6 he just walks away and complains to me. His 8/3 yo sisters watch the crap.

I remember as a kid making fun of my little sister for liking teletubbies. I was downright mean about it

Kinda feel bad about it now that I think about it

This weird opinion is a social construct too

Why do you assume the TV is their babysitter?

Also, patriarchy is a social construct too

Find something better to let them obsess over.

Take them out to shoot fireworks. Then teach them to shoot slingshots. Boy stuff is fun to boys.

My boys 6 and 2 love the show Wild Krats on PBS-kids. The oldest is now a walking talking Jr. Wildlife Biologist.

Maybe try to get them interested into a new show. They are kids and have the attn span of a knat.

I think you are being a bit paranoid, but I definitely go block shows that I can’t stand….Blippi for example.

Pretty easy to block specific titles in Netflix. I tell them it must’ve been removed and then they quickly forget about it.

God almighty that show looks terrible. I wouldn't care so much about it being a 'girl show' than just how downright terrible the show is. Might as well have them stare at moving colors

That's pretty much what captivates babies, toddlers and young kids. Do you expect them to watch Citizen Kane and submit a critical essay about it at 2yo? God almighty!

Possibly my all time favorite movie. I would stay up at night fantasizing about me and my friends engaging commies in close combat in our neighborhood.
