My little sister did this to my mom when she was like 9. it was around $500 though on iTunes. She bought tokens for games and nearly every one direction album that she saw.
My mom didn't find out until her card was declined. Apple refunded every bit, it shocked me.
She didn't get near the punishment she deserved.

Good question. I'm not even sure. Immediately after they deposited the money back into my checking account we factory reset his Kindle. We had warned him about these in game purchases and while my wife forgot to disable them, he knew what he was doing. So he's lost these types of electronics until he's a little more mature.

Never played this game, but I'd assume if it's like Clash of Clans that they wouldn't take the upgrades away.
The game itself I'm assuming is a totally different company than Amazon and it would be a bitch I'm sure to go back and find out what he spent gems or whatever they use to upgrade for just one random account.
Also, if it's like CoC the base will still be there, but since you factory reset it will just be ownerless now.

Amazon customer service is the best on the planet. I recently ordered a $250 sound bar that was manufacturer refurbished. When it came in it was missing two small mounting brackets and the remote didn't work. The sound bar and subwoofer worked fine. I emailed Amazon and they told me to keep the item and they'd refund 100% of my purchase price no questions asked. I couldnt believe it and kind of felt guilty keeping a product that worked for free. The manufacturer even shipped me the missing pieces for free within 5 days of my email.

Damn. I was pumped last week when they refunded me because my pack of tp was open and two rolls got out and had some weird stuff on them...but they also let me keep the remaining rolls.

I can top this.
My little cousin is really into playing computer games and watching those nerds who make videos of themselves playing video games and screaming. Well one day he had the bright idea of stealing my aunts debit card and donating 200 dollars to this guy's Lamborghini fund. He received no punishment because his mom is a super liberal. There is literally no help for that kid except a nice arse whoopin.
