Seattle? I didn't know you could barbecue coffee.

Maybe they're counting meat that burned in the fires set during protests. Protesters may also be cooking looted meat on looted grills.

Tripadvisor loves New Orleans. Would not be surprised if the CVB cuts TA a nice check each year.

I can’t think of one BBQ joint in NoLa

Then you’re obviously an idiot because there’s at least one BBQ Joint.

And besides that one, there a few others that are pretty good.
People just love to hate on New Orleans. If there’s one thing it’s good for, it’s food and compete with any style.
Fwiw I don’t agree with that list, but who cares?!?

I agree that this list is laughable but let me play devils advocate. It seems like the the rankings are very close from 1-10. I wonder if the other blue blood bbq cities have watered down rankings due to an abundance of bbq restaurants, some of which are bad.

Obviously any list that doesn’t have Memphis, kc, Texas, and Carolina in some order in the top 4 is a joke.

Fracking New Orleans....Best BBQ?!?! That’s like saying NOLA has good Mexican food. Total BS list. Shreveport has better BBQ than NOLA & that’s not saying much. Sheesh

St Louis, OKC and Charlotte are the only ones on that list I’d even entertain eating BBQ in.

No Kansas City, no Rexas, and no Memphis says it all about this. It’s BS.

These rankings are based on customer 5 star reviews. Maybe Texas and Memphis just have a bunch of bbq places that aren’t that good that kill the rankings.

In Nola there are like 3 bbq places I can think of off the top of my head, I’m sure cities like Dallas and Houston have 100’s.
