Southern Classic has locations in at least Ruston, Grambling, and Farmerville.

Agreed...... the portions of tenders is smaller than it used to be.... just like when Wendy’s first started up. The burgers back then were just fantastic.... now not so much.

that place in Shreveport? I think you need more than one establishment to be a chain. Although the chicken and sauce was good just seemed like a knockoff of canes
17 locations in LA, AR, & TX

Be sure you book half a day. I've never seen one without a line to the street in the drive thru

Wow that’s way more locations than I’d thought, but yeah that’s the place is was thinking of. It’s solid, much better than zaxbys.

You dip the chicken in the sauce. That’s what makes it good.

When Zaxbys first came to my area they were awesome but they weren't fast food. They cooked to order and it took a good while to get your food but it was really good. Now they are very much meh, they went the fast food route and the quality declined significantly.
We don't have Raising Canes that I know of so I can't compare that to Chick fil a

Does a restaurant deserve to be on the list if it's barely available in most of "the south?"
I've never seen or heard of Raising Cane's until now, and I eat the shiat out of chicken fingers.

Southern Classic Fried Chicken is some good shite
From its original home in Haynesville, LA (born as Chick-a-Dilly). Best fried chicken I've ever eaten. Started in small rural towns in Claiborne and Bienville Parish and has made it scattered throughout NWLA and southern Ark. If they ever take it wider it will be a big hit.
