Yep. Washington, Oregon and even Alaska have areas that may get no snow in a winter.

You don't know much about Oregon and Washington, then
You would be correct. Other than flying through Seattle, I have never been to Washington. Either way, I haven't visited either state yet.

Better mentality than most posters who even after seeing everything would scream that Lake Charles is better than Newport Beach because of the traffic.
I definitely wouldn't say that Lake Charles is better than Newport Beach, but I wasn't impressed with that whole area (Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, etc...). The only place I really liked in that area was Laguna. Once we started driving north and got to Santa Barbara on upward we enjoyed the state much more.

Anyone who puts cali in their least favorites has either never been there or is a moron. There's something there for everyone unless you're just completely miserable
anybody who has a different opinion than me is an idiot.

Some of the prettiest and ugliest places in the USA are in California.

Pretty amazing that one state can be home to both Big Sur and Bakersfield.

Big Sur is cut off from the world right now and basically will be until September due to the storm damage

Definitely put a damper on our California trip in February, but even with that California was the second most beautiful state that I've been to (only behind Hawaii).
