It would be a fun hidden camera segment to send a middle aged person in a tobacco store, say they’ve never smoked but want to start because it looks enjoyable. What are some good brands the clerk recommends for a beginner?

I haven't had a cigarette in years, but I still have dreams about smoking. Nicotine is a hell of a drug.

In the 90's and early to mid 2000's it was Virginia Slim 120's and camel lights for me. It was common to light up with drinks and social gatherings no matter what and honestly was a fashion thing back then. And yes its true, if you smoked you poked and not ashamed to say because I wasn't the only one LOL.

He means it’s an activity typical with low income, poorly educated people. The types with poor hygiene and low class.

When I was in college(90’s) it seemed like everyone smoked Marlboro lights. One of the guys I new switched to menthols just so no one would bum off of him.

1. Lucky Strikes (shorts, of course)
2. Pall Malls (also unfiltered)

There ya go. Smoking filtered cigs is like sucking a kitty through a nightgown.
