Spot the Station
Sign up here and get email or text when it is flying over your location. I’ve been using this for a few years after someone on here posted it and I’ve seen it at least a dozen times. Really cool. Sometimes in the early morning or early evening. You normally can see it coming and it’s pretty steady and well lit. Fast but not so fast you can’t enjoy the flyby. I walk out on my front porch and watch.
Enjoy. It’s free.

There was a little impromptu viewing party in the parking lot at Albertsons on Johnston Street in Lafayette. Strange and cool. Sign up for the texts.

The ISS moves so quickly that if you fired a rifle bullet from one end of a football field, the International Space Station could cross the length of the field before the bullet traveled 10 yards.

That is some awesome imagery

It happens multiple times a day, it's just a matter of if you'll be in the right area at the right time with minimal cloud cover. Download the ISS detector app and it'll send you a notification 5 minutes before it passes.
