This is a follow up to the recent space station spotting thread. The ISS is flying over Louisiana tonight at 6:07 pm. The flyover information for Acadiana is:
FRM:HQ-spotthestation@mail.nasa.gov
SUBJ:SpotTheStation
MSG:Time: Wed Jan 24 6:07 PM, Visible: 6 min,
Max Height: 48 degrees,
Appears: SSW, Disappears: ENE
You don’t need a telescope. It will be brighter than any star.

I had a great view of it in Gonzales last. Tonight’s viewing will be six minutes long. Amazing.

Good weather plus 6 minutes visibility! I'm setting an alarm so I don't forget.

Visibility is great outside. The flyover is in just over an hour.
DON'T MISS IT!
If you've never seen the ISS flying overhead, it's difficult to believe that what you are looking at with the naked eye is in space and flying that freaking fast.

I hope that I can see here in West Monroe. These rednecks may start shooting at it or trying to call to it.

Nola is like 1 minute after Lafayette, because it takes 1 minute for the ISS to get there. Wish my car did that.

The bullets would just ricochet off the glass dome.
