Seems like he cares about the people who are working on his movie having their jobs taken away. Also, he’s got a lot of money on the line too, I’m sure.

Why do they bleep out Mother? It is not a swear word. His jeremiad was reminiscent of Colonel Jessup's monologue. Although I do not agree with the foul language he uses, I agree with his message: follow the rules and do not behave in ways that can help covid spread.

Although at least he wasn’t saying people are dying because you broke protocol, it was about people’s livelihoods and wanting to keep the movie filming without power drunk mayors and governors shutting them down and lots of people losing their jobs/homes/etc as a result.

Did you even listen to it? His point was- there are a lot of people in the film industry who aren't working and the people not taking proper Covid protocols are basically disrespecting those people. He's right- if the movie gets shut down, A LOT of the "smaller guys" are going to be out of work. The people not following procedure are putting everyone's job at risk. Good for Cruise, really.

If you actually listened to the entire video he is upset because if the movie gets shut down and Hollywood closes down, because of them, then people will lose their jobs, houses, money for their kids college etc. I have more respect for him after this eruption

Well shite, while I knew it was kind of bullshite with the Scientology thing, he's supposed to be one of the best guys to work with in Hollywood, even going out of his way to know all the PAs names.

That just highlights how easily things could be shut down if wackos there decided nah too risky. Keep the spotlight off them, follow rules, don’t create waves. Sucks that’s the climate we’re in but it is, especially in CA.

Yeah, this is no where near as bad as Bale's rant a couple of years ago and not even in the ballpark of any of Gibson's. He can just tweet out I lost my temper when some people weren't following government protocol and I didn't want everyone to lose their jobs.
