She looked at me like I just came from Mars. Surely I'm not the only one who uses this term.

It’s a mixture between “tip it over” and “dump it”.

Tump is an authentic country word. No one should have to apologize for being country. That’s real America.

I know what a tump is (similar to a copses of trees) but it not a verb in English.

My guess is that she had never heard that word used before. I sure hadn’t.
