The only tablet that kid would ever see again would be the one she purchased with her own money. frick that. Thank God, I don't have to deal with that type of stupidity.

Yeah I've worked a good bit with autistic children, one of those things where all the dumbs dumbs will say "they just need a good whoopin" but have no clue what they are talking about. It's very frustrating but more heartbreaking when they have those episodes.

The mom identified the root of the problem when she said, "...so I just give it back." Kids are smart, they learn what behaviors will work to get what they want.

I think I found the problem:
There's no reason to strike the child, she is just exhibiting behavior that the parent rewards. The solution is two fold:
1.) Take away the tablet and don't even let her see it for at least a few months if not a year.
2.) Seek counseling on effective parenting.
