This truck was a bout 2 feet long and what you can't see in this picture, is a hole in the bumper that was used as a trailer hitch. I got my finger stuck in that hole and had to have it cut off with a cast cutter.

I've seen that 1970s meme before and do you know what I say to that? It's the little girls from the 70s who grew up to be the over protected soccer mom and that little boy grew up to be a dad who let her be overprotective to their kid. So frick gen x

Late 20's Lionel "Blue Comet" - Much bigger than the trains people think of when they think of "Lionel trains." I have one that had been boxed up since the 40's - oiled it up and it ran like a top. The trim is either copper or nickel. If treated decently, they'd last forever.

I remember me and my friends built ramshackle forts from scrap wood in a field behind my house and would have wars consisting of pellet guns, paintball guns, and an assortment of fireworks. Those were fun

My son, 11, has an RC car that's unreal compared to what I had as a kid. It's a 1:16 scale Stadium truck that is damn near indestructible.

Did you paint it black and think of Johnny Jones while driving it up your caboose?

Swiss Army Knife at age 7 (with whittlin chip from cub scouts of course) and a 410 shotgun at the age of 10. Set us loose in the woods to cut shite and shoot shite.

My parents were nuts.
