A Palo Alto, California, couple woke up early Sunday morning to a terrifying surprise: There was a stranger in their bedroom, according to police.

It was a 17-year-old burglar, and he startled the 60-something residents awaketo ask for access to their WiFi network, according to Palo Alto police. The burglar had a garment obscuring his face, the victims said.

The burglar never got WiFi access, though. The man got out of his bed and forced the burglar out of their bedroom, down the hall and out the home’s front door, according to police. The couple called police right after that, around 12:30 a.m. Neither victim was injured. All that was missing from the home were two kitchen knives, the couple told police.

Officers quickly got to the scene and arrested the suspected burglar a block away, police said.

Millenials get a bad rap enough, but since this new generation is looking to be even worse than millenials, they are still working a qualified name to label them.

I’m confused...were the officers millennials? Because either that’s what you’re referring to or you’re an idiot.

The Louisiana version, couple wakes up and discovers a 17 yo burglar in their bedroom. Bang, no charges filed.

What is the commonality between them? Somebody born in the early 80s has nothing in common with someone born in the late (or hell early even) 90s

Well, yeah. That’s kind of the problem. There are millennials who hate millennials and they don’t even know they’re millennials.

1980-1996 is typical years, but it varies.

The same can pretty much be said about every generation. I don't think someone born in 1965 has that much in common born with someone in 1980 but they are both considered GenX by most.

Actually, a 16 year generation name is around average.
Baby boomers go from 46-64. Gen X from about 65-81.
