I wen t to a Pentecostal church one time because my friend kept bothering me to go. I had to leave because when they started that speaking in tongues mess, I couldn't keep a straight face. Some man got up and started to spin around. He screamed that God turned his life around so he was turning around for God. I had to get the hell out of there. I told my friend that I didn't get anything out of the service. I told her that if that was what she believed in, then at least she found a place to worship. I told her that the speaking in tongues is not for me, but if she gets something out of it, I will be the last one to condemn her religion. I told her that I had to control my laughter. The funny thing is that I had a feeling that they knew I was a nonbeliever in the speaking of tongues.

I can appreciate your excitement but don't blame us Protestants for not being smitten by the man. He is pretty goofy and it hasn't been the best of decades for Catholics

This pope is still the pope (in my eyes it’s unfortunate) but still a papal blessing of a grandchild is a big deal for the faithful.
