The local used game store had those for sale.

Haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

I'd be worried about a 40 year old floppy disk still being readable.

Plus with Radio Shack no longer being a thing I'm not sure how to find an adapter to run it on a modern TV.

You would be surprised.

The 40 year old NES just needed a little cleaning. Runs perfectly.

Consider getting a The64, which is the plug and play version of the computer which lets you add games via SD card.

Nah.

I like owning the physical media.

It isn’t just about playing the games.

I like collecting but I find that magnetic media was pissy even back when it was new.

Tecmobowl.org has annual roster updates.

Double Dribble was another good NES game.

You forgot to include a pic of that awful robot that came with NES and never worked with Gyromite….hands down the worst game ever released by Nintendo.

got Super Macho Man was the World Circuit champion. Sandman was right before him, but Macho was easier to beat

There was an older kid down the street who beat the game and that was the only time I saw someone play through the game. No game genie or nothing.

I beat it once, but it was the post prison version that was just called Punch Out. The turned Mike into a white guy and renamed him Mr Dream.

Did anyone mention contra?

Mario Brothers 3.
Excite bike
Rbi baseball and techmo bowl for sure

Anyone remember the game called joust

It was this weird game where you would almost fight on birds. shite was one of the first games they came out with.

Another game I remember was the BMX bike game. You could do jump and would ride like a trail course. That shite was nice.

Friend and I almost beat Bubble Bobble once. Most frustrating games I own are Ghost Busters and WWF.

For all the awesome modern games with the special effects and realistic graphics and such, none of them are really that hard to win.

Games on NES and SNES were fricking difficult to win. There’s several I’ve never completed

Besides the obvious, Mario, Zelda, Contra and Punchout. I’m going with
Castlevania
Kid Icarus
Metroid

I forgot about Wall Street Kid. I played that for hours of endless failure.

The original wheel of fortune was pretty epic too, because you went shopping for your prizes after you won each round.
