Wouldn't that become: 05 + 12 + 1988 + 30 = 2,035

You weren't just born on the 23rd, dumbass. There's more to a date than that. That's like giving your geocoordinates as only a latitude. There's more information that goes into it.

You seem triggered by a joke. Clearly OP meant year but said date. The day of the month seemed as good as the month when making fun of that error.

Or arguably, 02121986 -> 2,121,986 + 32 = 2,122,018.

OR 02+12+1986+32 = 2,032.
