So I’m grilling outside, having a drink, my youngest and my 4 yo daughter are playing in the yard. They are squealing, running around, playing, etc. Kind of a perfect moment. Then my daughter runs up to me with the biggest smile and ask if she is going to marry a prince one day. In that moment it hit me that one day I’ll have to give my baby girl away, and I started to tear up. Of course I said yes but it got me thinking.

To all those daddies out there with daughters... be the man you want them to marry. Love them, hold them close, and cherish the moments. It’ll be gone before we know it. Having a daughter is a gift.

My daughter is almost a teenager. I'm just keeping the boys away and teaching her what dirty bastards we are (in pg 13).

You get about 10-12 good years with them. Then the change comes

Make the most of your time, so that she knows daddy is always there for her.

I have an extra special relationship with my girl due to her mom having some medical issues over the years.

She’s going to be a senior next year and then off to college. I’m not at all ready for this, but at the same time I’m very happy and proud of her.

Enjoy them while they are young, soon they will be bringing boys home and wrecking cars.

Mine is 30 now, married, and going through the same struggles of life my wife and I went through.

I’ve got 4 and 6 year old boys. God bless the men like you raising good daughters. I’m hopeful that after my boys grow up to find good women like their momma.
