First go back to school and take high school civics.
Everyone hates drug companies all you are doing is empowering a few companies to profit.
Decriminalize it is what you want none of this Colorado type crap.

This is an extremely high traffic measage board that is frequented by trolls, celebrities, athletes and politicians. I really am hoping someone hears me and sees the merit of what I am saying.

Yall have a good day. I have better things to do than get trashed by out of work oilfield workers. My solution stands on its own.
I'm at work, in a plant. And I didn't trash you.

I want it reclassified as produce, a flowering plant. Because that is what it is.

So you truly believe that if they do this it will end everything that is going on?

So you think legalizing weed would stop these protest right now? Honestly?
Posted on 6/4/20 at 7:45 am to go ta hell ole miss
It is legal in more than just Colorado. And it is an actionable item that can be used to end the protests going on nationally against the Justice System.

Yes. 100%.

Then you’re insane.
Legalizing weed 100% needs to happen. I agree every person should be able to partake in it and it should fall under the same rules as alcohol. But if you think legalizing weed will stop these riots in their tracks, you’re just a pot head that wants to get high legally.
Nothing will stop these protest 100% as there is not 1 single cause or movement. Go look at what people are protesting for. It ranges from additional educational options to free healthcare to abolishment of the police to death to all white folks. This “movement” has been so twisted and contorted that it’s damn near impossible to recognize what it was originally about: Police Brutality.

Last one for now, but please.. don't just attack my character. I am trying to explain my thought process to a bunch of people that don't like me. It is not an easy thing and my message bothers some people for some reason. I guess they prefer messages related to hatred and bigotry as opposed to peace and progress.
We all learned about Watergate as kids (or experienced it directly if you but a little older than myself). This occurred under Nixon.
We know that the war on drugs has had dubious results at best. It ocurred under Nixon and is his legacy. It has ruined millions of lives, directly led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of men of all color and blacks at a disportional rate. It has done abolutely nothing but divide this country into multiple camps, even nerdy white guys like me at odds with the Law. And the terrifying thing is that the long arm of the law can destroy people for this. It's not justice! It's a shame, and is THE derivative solution for the protests that are occuring.
It is an abomination, a war started by a president that later resigned in disgrace.

To be honest I can get weed whenever I want. Illegally or legally. I generaly buy in Colorado, because I don't care if I get popped for possession. I care if I get arrested for purchasing and go to jail.

I thought you were leaving?
That would be a nice olive branch.
