It was my understanding that places that are purely bars aren't open.
Bars that serve food can still serve to go food. It's strange about how they seem to be handling the alcohol. My local bar has a drive through window and I went to get food and they only alcohol they could sale was bottles of wine or beer. They were doing ok business.
Went to the Mexican restaurant to get a to go order and I was the only person in there. They could only serve bottled beer.

I ordered online from Bellagreen earlier this week and it was pretty quick. Walked right in and got my food.

Sorry yall are getting hit. How many people are buying beer and wine from restaurants though? Seems like most would just forgo the markup and go to the store if they aren't eating in.

Yes, this is a real problem. Most restaurants make a ton off of their alcohol sales and the food is low margin.
There is a wine and liquor store near me, so it's hard to justify going to any of the bars/restaurants and paying for to go drinks.

CFA was dead for what it usually is in the drive through.
The restaurants are closing down instead of doing takeout only. There just wasn't enough business for them.

I went and got Canes out here in Denver, and there was a small car line, but I got my food in like 5 minutes.

They are. I've got a couple specials in place. Not really looking to make a profit due to that. Just trying to take that capital back and put it in the bank.

Agree, but some places are marking them down. Doris Metropolitan in NOLA is doing 50% off bottles, which has to get you at least somewhat close to retail.
Superior isn't discounting their margs, nor do they need to. Seem to be going like hotcakes.
Its a bit confusing. The permit thing said that places can serve alcohol if sealed in original packaging - so beer or wine. But Mexican places are allowed to sell margs to-go any other time, so why the hell wouldn't be be allowed now?
