TJ Ribs in Prairieville closing down

One of my wife's favorite restaurants. It seemed busy at most times. Maybe the lease is too high?
How many more restaurants will to fail there until someone finally figures it out?

Hopefully it's just a lease issue and they relocate.

from the food board thread.
Thank y’all for the support over the last 2 years in Praireville. We opened the restaurant to help support the closing and remodel of the Acadian location. We had unbelievable business when we first opened, but unfortunately had a difficult time with operations, and never recovered from our opening struggles.
We like the location and the facility, but I failed to make it a success for our company, guests and employees. I feel we were trying to offer too much with a 5400 square foot restaurant. When we fail to provide a proper experience for our guest, it’s time shore up operations at our other locations. That is why we made the decision to close.
I am an avid reader of TD, and a fan of what Chicken has built over the years. It is a great forum for the people of Louisiana to express their opinions. Thank y’all for the support over the last 32 years of TJ Ribs, Burke Moran

One on Acadian used to be really good 15-20 years ago.
I haven't been there since the Nick Saban years.

Had amazing real cans. And that poor girl did not look like she enjoyed the experience.

Doubt she could walk for a few weeks after the boring out of her birth canal.

That's not a very good location I guess. There's been several unsuccessful restaurants there. I've lived in P'ville the entire time it was open and never stepped foot in it, so you can blame me, but looks like I'm not the only one. Now Mi Padre's on the otherhand ........

I am shocked that the headline wasn't:
TJ Ribs in Prarieville BURNED DOWN.
That seems to be what happens to failing restaurants around here.
