What’s with the recent trend of package thieves? You didn’t hear about this, say, 5-7 years ago.

That's what I've always done. Yesterday, the USPS confirmed delivering a package with a book in it. Tracking shows delivered. Mailman did not leave a package. We looked at the security video today to confirm. Why would anyone ever use the USPS over UPS or FedEx?
