I put on 25k miles a year. Rotate between every 8k - 10k miles. Never had a problem.

All mine work beautifully.
In fact, when one is about 3# low, there is a 100% chance there is a nail in that tire.
Whenever the rim is removed, my car needs to "relearn" the tire--takes about 10 minutes of driving.

It's actually because of the Firestone tire recall in 2000, was initially proposed in 2003 and finally became mandatory in 2005, but don't let reality get in the way of your irrational hate.

Go back to dealer,tell them to fix. Never have to worry again. Oh, and buy a tire gauge.

They better be careful it's a federal felony to knowingly disable a working TPMS system or tamper with a sensor.

When you rotate your tires if the system isn't relearned then the car still assumes that sensor in that tire is still in its original location.
Ex: if driver front tire is rotated to the back driver side and it's not relearned then the car still reads that sensor as it still being on the front of the car instead of on the back after the rotation.
It's not if the sensors are working but you have to tell the ECM where that particular sensor is located after the rotation.
It literally takes 10-15 secs per sensor

Most of the time it's the sensor that goes bad, not the system.

This... if they touch a tire they have to make sure it is functioning properly.
FYI... Buy an aftermarket sensor for $45 at Napa and have a tire shop install it for you... probably another $20.

The tires blew out because people were runnung them low on air, causing heat to build up and damaging the tire. Boom. People were too stupid or lazy to check their tire pressure.
And now you know why they call them idiot lights!
