Two years is a long time to work those hours. If you've been saving the overtime I'd take the other job.

If I can make money it’s worth my time.

When I had time and no money, it was money.

When you have money and less time, it’s time.

Priorities and life changes. Do what makes you most happy.

You don't work that much.... you post too much to be working that much.

There is no balance.

Time >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> money.

First you need to get money, then you must use it to maximize your time.

They are not the same. Time is not money. Time is finite, money is green paper.

If you've been watching the clock lately, it's time to go.

60 hours a week is a lot, especially if it's week after week , month after month, and year after year. Live a little, man! Pick up some hobbies, spend more time with friends and family, take time to actually relax! You've earned it. As mentioned, you aren't even really taking a pay cut, just cutting out OT.

Money is nice. But having no personal time means you won’t be able to spend it and realize the fruits of your labor.

You have to be there from 7-6. That’s a shift

I work whenever and where ever I choose, usually under 40 hours per week. I have kids and a wife I spend time with

I don’t know where my line is but I know I’d never work 60 hours a week no matter the pay

for me, id be out so fast it wouldn't be funny. 60 hour weeks can wear anybody down. we aren't promised anything, so id rather have less money with more time to do the things i enjoy. plus, with all that extra time on your hands, if you are so inclined you could pick up a side hustle and make up some

You only get one ride on this merry-go-round. So if I could live comfortably as far as f finances goes, I am working less.

I like money, so I'd work more. If you like time off, work less.

I'd pick the less boring job. If you like what you do, it is much easier to work the extra hours

I’m in my mid to late 20s. I’m salary plus OT and I work as much as I feel I need to.

The problem for me with taking less money to work fewer hours is that I’d have more time to spend that money.

For example, if I had every Friday off, that’s probably a few more rounds of golf, more going out to eat, more trips, etc. and then I’d be bringing home less.

Kind of the opposite. I'm contracted to Gov.

The problem is I have two jobs at the same desk. One auditing our contracted acounts, one babysitting grown men.

But I was more curious how people viewed time/money.

I hate this about myself, but I’m very selfish with my time and not so selfish with my money. I probably should be the opposite...
