Last Monday I had a major hankering for a good cheeseburger so I ate some grapes and it went away.
With this current Inflation Disaster many fast food stands will bite the dust. Just how many people will be willing to pay $25 for some fried chicken? Think about it , chicken , at one time was the cheapest protein meat in the country. Between gasoline/diesel,car prices, and electricity we are lining up for a Great Smashdown.

Depends if you eat in the restaurant or not in Ohio

Dude, Cane's isn't the only one doing this. 2022 has been a historic nightmare for a number of reasons - and one big one is inflation.
Cane's is a pioneering company and Todd Graves is a visionary. They managed to foresee the current recession years like 10 ago and started adjusting prices and quantities accordingly then.

I mean how often are people eating this stuff? Like grown adults with kids?
There’s one near my work that stays packed. I don’t get it. They’re ok for the occasional chicken tender hankering but I’ve seen better tenders in the quad.

People need to lose weight anyway so the fatasses who eat the Caniac combo will be better off with the 3 finger combo.

It's much harder for local mom and pop places than it is for these fast-food chains.

It’s not hard to make better chicken strips at home. They’re going to keep jacking up prices so long as fatties keep paying and Todd keeps flying his celebrity friends around the country in his private plane.

Fast Food is just a slow suicide.

Heck I got a double cheeseburger at five guys yesterday, no fries just a drink with it and it was $13
Fast food has gone nuts

Always the lamest response in any kind of thread like this.

That’s what I’m wondering. Thread made me think and I’ve maybe had Canes once in the last 12 months.

Krispy Krunchy has much more flavor and is just as available across Louisiana.
Krispy Krunchy’s seasoning is good but overall quality is hit or miss depending on where you buy it. Which isn’t terribly surprising when you’re buying gas station chicken.
I will admit though, the better Krispy Krunchy places have some of the best fried chicken I’ve seen in LA.

I remember when a box was exactly 6 dollars

And I remember when gas was less than a dollar a gallon, you're point?

We haven’t been back to canes since their last price increase but you may as well go to a decent sit down restaurant for those prices
