This is crazy to hear. I grew up in the same subdivision as Bret and his brother used to bring me to school my freshman yr at Bishop. The family definitely has my prayers .

Visiting Sunday Oct 5th from 4-8 pm. Visiting continues Monday morning Oct 6th from 9-11am and funeral to follow.

It was a very moving service, there wasn't a dry eye in that place. The guys who spoke on his behalf did a great job.

Nice job today, I'm not sure if I could have done what you did today. I looked around and didn't see a dry eye. Damn onions.

Spoken from the heart and a true friend you are to him. The services were great and the support for the family was terrific.

RIP Bret Anselmo! You will be missed.

Everyone thanks for sharing your thoughts. Although i didn't know Bret its very moving that he touched so many lives and was so highly thought of. RIP

What a great person! I had the privilege of playing for him my freshman year of high school. It's amazing the amount of kids he coached who are now adults and making a positive impact in this world. Great coach, person, dad, friend.....BA will be missed but his legacy will continue through all that knew him
